About the Doctor

Dr. Mohammed Hashim Nassri is a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine and Arthroplasty, based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. He has practised at King Abdullah Medical City since 2017, where he also serves as Director of Quality and Patient Safety Administration. His clinical scope centers on sports medicine and joint replacement surgery, including hip and knee arthroplasty and hip arthroscopy. He is a certified provider of MAKO robotic-assisted knee and hip total joint replacement (Stryker), and holds certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS). His training also covers orthopedic trauma care, including fracture management (such as neck of femur and pediatric ankle fractures) and knee ligament and meniscal injuries. Dr. Nassri served as part of the medical team for Canada's national football team during his fellowship at McMaster (2017–2018), and has presented on topics including hip arthroscopy, basic arthroplasty, and orthopedic trauma during his residency. His research includes a systematic review on intraoperative radiation exposure in hip arthroscopy (McMaster University) and a study on length of hospital stay following total joint replacement surgery at King Abdullah Medical City.
