Dr. Fatima Ahmed Alkaf

Dr. Fatima Al-Kaf believes that the role of a family physician extends far beyond simply prescribing medication. She follows up with her patients for years—learning their medical histories, medications, and genuine concerns—and sees all members of the same family, from children to the elderly, all in one place. Many come to her clinic after their diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol have spiraled out of control, or with unexplained chronic fatigue, or out of fear of starting insulin. Dr. Fatima deals with these cases daily, explaining the treatment plan in clear and simple language so that each patient leaves knowing exactly what to do and why. She also focuses on women's health and the postpartum period, monitoring children's growth and development, asthma, sleep disorders, and preventative screenings that detect problems before they worsen. She draws on over ten years of experience in major hospitals and primary care centers in Jeddah, including five years at King Abdullah Medical Complex and four years at the Jeddah Military Hospital, during which she has treated a wide range of cases in diverse work environments. She is a certified family medicine consultant with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, holding both the Saudi and Arab Board certifications in family medicine, and is a graduate of King Abdulaziz University. In addition to her private practice, she trains primary care physicians and delivers regular lectures on diabetes, hypertension, and cholesterol management. She has also been the Director of the Saudi Board Family Medicine Program at the Saudi German Hospital since 2025. This ensures her practice remains aligned with the latest treatment guidelines. Dr. Fatima currently sees patients at the Family Medicine Clinics in the Saudi German Hospital in Jeddah's Al-Zahraa district. She speaks both Arabic and English.
